Sink or Swim

This is Sink or Swim.

It’s a small independent project connected to the music and creative work around it. What started as ideas and visuals naturally turned into clothing, just another way to put that same world into something physical.

Sink or Swim really started from two friends working the same job. One day Benny showed me a beat pack he’d been making, and I started writing to it during breaks and later at home. Nothing serious at first, just passing ideas back and forth and seeing what stuck. Eventually I rapped one of the songs to him in the car during a break at work, and that was the moment it felt real enough to actually record.

We ended up recording the track in one full take. No overthinking it, no big setup, just capturing the energy as it was. That approach kind of set the tone for everything that came after. Most of what exists now came from doing things naturally and building as we went instead of planning it out ahead of time.

The clothing came from the same place. It wasn’t meant to be a separate thing, just another extension of the music and the ideas around it. Pieces are released in small batches when they’re ready, made alongside everything else we’re creating.
